MY STORY- ARIELLE
I grew up in Corvallis, Oregon, where I began riding lessons at the age of 5 and quickly fell in love with all things equestrian. My passion led me to focus on Eventing, and I have since competed through the preliminary level.
I earned a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Oregon State University while working as an assistant trainer at Inavale Farm in Philomath, Oregon. During this time, I also held personal training roles at local gyms and for Oregon State University. I began working professionally with horses in 2015 and relocated to Maryland in 2020 to join Event rider Tracey Bienemann as her assistant trainer, barn manager, and groom.
Combining my passion for exercise science with my love of horses and competition, I pursued and obtained certification in equine massage therapy from Delaware Valley University in 2022.
I continue to train and teach, which provides valuable insight into how the physical issues I identify during massage therapy manifest in the saddle and affect the rider’s experience.

“From the moment I brought my horse home in 2024, it became clear that the journey ahead would not be a straightforward one. Faced with a month of challenging rides and a bond that felt more elusive than I anticipated, I accepted that I needed a guiding light and reached out to Arielle who quickly stepped up, and became a guiding light for us. She worked hard to develop a strong relationship with him, and worked through some very difficult challenges. When medical issues sidelined me and my riding aspirations, I felt a pang of loss and helplessness. But Arielle swiftly stepped up, becoming not just a trainer but a true advocate for my horse, empowering him with weekly rides that redefined his purpose. With her keen insight, she unearthed a natural affinity for jumping that astounded us both. Arielle didn’t just train my horse; she crafted a beautiful narrative of growth—of hope and realization. She has been patient with him and I in our journey - and has accommodated my riding journey as well - giving me lessons that have been tailored to meet me where my health has allowed for me to be in each lesson.”
